Delores Grace Workman

Delores Grace Workman, age 77, resident of Cleveland, TN and formerly of Bandera, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 20, 2008. She passed away in a Chattanooga hospital. She was a retired teacher with 46 years of dedicated service. She was employed with the Bandera School System in Texas. She was a member of the Pipe Creek Presbyterian Church, Order of the Eastern Star where she served as Past Worthy Matron of the Liberty Chapter, past president of the Bandera Chapter Association of Texas Professional Educators, past president of the National Education Assn. in Elk Horn, Iowa, member of the Nu Phi Mu and Delta Kamma Gamma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Workman and one sister, Barbara Pfrimmer.

She is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Kruse of Cleveland, TN; two sisters, Doris Sinclair, San Antonio, TX and Nancy Robertson, Houston, TX; two beloved grandchildren, Tiffany and Allison Kruse, Cleveland, TN. A host of friends also survive.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at 6:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home. Interment will be held private.
