Viola Marie Cass McCurry Lee

Viola Marie Cass McCurry Lee, 91, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010, in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Clarence Cass and Ethel Swingle Cass; first husband, Guy McCurry and second husband, Chester Lee; one son, Billie McCurry; five brothers, Whorley Cass, Houston Cass, Emory Cass, Bill Cass and James Robert Cass; two sisters, Inez Hamilton and Lorena Humberd; and two daughters in law, Sharon McCurry and Gerda McCurry. Survivors include four sons, Larry McCurry of Whittier, CA, Lee McCurry (Anna) of St. Charles, MO, Randy McCurry of Bolingbrook, Ill., and Steve McCurry (Letha) of Cleveland; one daughter, Brenda Gore of Hollywood, FL; one daughter in law, Geri McCurry of Downey, CA; twenty-one grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Scoggins officiating. Interment will follow in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
