William B. Wright

WILLIAM BAILEY WRIGHT, 85, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010, in a local health facility. He served in the United States Navy and worked as a college professor teaching Chemistry at Blinn College. He was a member of the Encouragers Sunday School class at North Cleveland Church of God. He will be missed by his many friends at the North Cleveland Towers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Landrum Wright, and his parents, William and Nancy Wright. He is survived by one brother, David Wright of Cleveland, TN; one nephew, Michael Landrum and wife Bonita of Cleveland, TN; and one cousin, Martha Smith and husband Robert of Sevierville, TN. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 20, 2010, at 3:00 p.m., in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Travis Porter and Reverend Fred Brannen. Interment will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Forest Park Cemetery, located in Shreveport, LA. The family will receive friends, Monday, December 20, 2010, from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m., prior to the service.
