Crickett Hodgkinson

July 16, 1941 — February 18, 2011

Charlotte "Crickett" Hodgkinson, 69, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, February 18, 2011 in a local hospital. She was a former teacher and Administrator at Faith Academy, and also taught Sunday School. She attended Westwood Baptist Church and Restoration Bible Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Hattie Carmicheal Stewart; one son, Rodney Keith Hodgkinson; one sister, Pauline Nelson; one brother, Billy Stewart; and one granddaughter, Christy Ann Hodgkinson. Survivors include her husband Dale Hodgkinson of Cleveland; two sons and daughters in law, Richard and Kathy Hodgkinson of Kirkland, IL, and Allen and Julie Hodgkinson of Chicago Ridge, IL; one daughter and son in law, Diana and Mark Hendershott of Cleveland; five grandchildren, Wesley Hodgkinson, Brandi Gubala, Michael Hodgkinson, Luke Hendershott and Matthew Hendershott; three great grandchildren, Jonathan Gubala, Kierstynn Hodgkinson, and Anthony Hodgkinson; and two special nephews, Tony Sproles and Doug Sproles. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Hendershott and Rev. Jimmy Caywood officiating. Interment will be held privately. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
