Ollie Irene Prueitt

Ollie Irene Prueitt, 97, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011 in a local healthcare facility. She was born in Bradley County, Tennessee to the late Robert and Jane Higgins Nipper on their Ladd Springs Road farm. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and helping her neighbors. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, G. W. "Rabbit" Prueitt, a successful local general contractor; one brother, Fred Nipper; and three sisters, Mamie Ratcliff, Alice Ratcliff, and Eva Morgan. Survivors include one daughter, Virginia Sink of Cleveland; one granddaughter, Deborah Cross of Smyrna, GA; one great granddog, Teddy Little Boots; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Moore's Chapel Cemetery with Deborah Cross officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home, which has charge of the arrangements.
