Beau Alexander Prince, 34, died April 19, 2011, in San Antonio, Texas, where he was a Petty Officer Second Class (CTI2 - SW) in the United States Navy, stationed at Lackland Air Force Base. He was a graduate of Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, specializing in Spanish. Beau was known and respected for his work in the Navy. Beau was a generous, enthusiastic, fun-loving person who never met a stranger. He loved his family and friends dearly, and he was loved by all who knew him. Beau was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Lambert Hooper; his grandmother, Phyllis Prince; and his grandfather, Darrell Hooper. He is survived by his parents, Rick Hooper and Marcia McMurray, and Winston Prince III; grandparents, Marie and Bob Lambert, Winston and Bobbie Prince, and Judy Hooper; brother and sister-in-law, Tyler and Fawn Hooper; niece, Ella Grace Hooper; fiancée, Christine Williams; and many other loving relatives and special friends. A memorial service was held Tuesday, April 26, at Lackland Air Force Base. Funeral services, with full military honors, will be held on Saturday, April 30, at 10 a.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Cleveland, Tennessee, with Reverend Joel Huffstettler officiating. Cremation and interment of ashes will occur at a later date. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 29, from 5 - 8 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home.
