Warren William Gee

Warren William Gee, 90, a resident of Cleveland, passed away June 5, 2011 at his home. He was a member of Wesley Ann Baptist Church. He was formerly a Deputy Sheriff of Whitfield City and a small business owner. He was a member of the Cleveland Senior Center and Hardee's Breakfast Club. He served his country in World War II, the 8th Army Air Core as a corporal. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Gee; daughter, Joyce Phillips; and brother, Ed Gee. He is survived by his daughter, Diane Hammon of College Park, GA; son, Billy Gee of Ringgold, GA; and special friend and caregiver, Frankie White. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with the Reverend Clay Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the funeral home.
