Betsy Guffey

Betsy M. Guffey, age 99, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011 in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James R. Guffey and second husband, James A. Stephenson. Survivors include several cousins, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Council Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Cheatham and Rev. Ron Sorah officiating. The family requests memorials be made to Calhoun First Baptist Church or to the Council Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Grissom Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
