Bobby Dean Brandon, 74, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011 at a Chattanooga hospital. He was an avid pool player at the Senior Citizens Center and loved woodworking. He was a member at Bethel Baptist Tabernacle and a supervisor at Charleston Hosiery. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and had a great love for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Dolly Mae Leffew Brandon; two brothers, Bill and Gary Wayne Brandon and one sister, Helen Brandon. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Ann Brandon of Cleveland; sons, Marty Brandon and wife, Ashley of Cleveland and Brady Wade Brandon of Chattanooga; daughter Anita Luttrell and husband, Chuck of Cleveland; four grandchildren, Anthony Maddux, Corey Brandon, Tiffany Luttrell and Coby Phillips; three great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Brandon and Brookelyn Maddux; brothers, Luke Brandon and Donnie Brandon and wife, Brenda all of Rockwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with the Reverend John Bivens officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Anthony Maddux, Chuck Luttrell, Coby Phillips, Phil Ratcliff, Shane Collins and Lee Buckner serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 on Monday, October 10, 2011 at the funeral home. The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
