Robert Allen Slaughter

Robert Allen Slaughter 71, of Calhoun, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 7, 2011. He spent his retirement years residing in Calhoun, was a veteran of the Korean War, and was a lover of music. He was of the Baptist faith and attended New Day Gathering in Cleveland, TN. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was the son of the late Walter Allen and Pauline Pridemore Slaughter of Kingsport, TN. He was also preceeded in death by his grandchildren Cory Alexander and Katlyn Leigh Slaughter. Survivors include his children Robert Allen Slaughter, Jr. and wife Anna and Cristol Dawn Slaughter all of Bradenton, FL where Robert Sr. resided for many years. Brothers include John Slaughter and wife Pat of Detroit MI, Don Slaughter and wife Drema of Lakeland, FL. Sisters include Patty Williams and husband Richard and Kathy Bennett of Cleveland, TN; and five nieces and five nephews. Memorial services will be held Veterans Day, November 11, 2011 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at New Day Gathering inside Bradley Square Mall.
