Marjorie A. Poss, 92, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 in a local assisted living facility with her family by her side. She was born in Canada and lived in Phoenix, Arizona before moving to Cleveland. She was of the Christian faith. She had many talents, but enjoyed and excelled at art and music. She was a very generous person and had a smile for everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Adolphe Fournier and Henry Poss; son, Randy Fournier; granddaughter, Janet Hawk; and sister, Hilda Knobel. Survivors include two daughters, Earlene Hawk of Cleveland and Lynne Havel and husband Jeff of Pawley's Island, SC; four grandchildren, Merv McDonald (Angie) of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA, Beth Gardner (Erik) of Cleveland, Kent Havel (Sarah) and Kristy Harbough (Dave), all of Pawley's Island, SC; seven great grandchildren; sister, Winnifred MacArthur; niece, Sharron Dean; nephew, Brian MacArthur, all of Canada. A Remembrance of Life Memorial Graveside Service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tom Grissom officiating. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony.
