George E. Gartin

George E. Gartin, 55, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Jane Gartin and sister, Mary A. Mays. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Gartin of Cleveland; four sons, Paul Gartin, Michael Gartin, Danny Gartin, and Brian Gartin, all of Cleveland; two brothers, Mac Gartin of Statesville, NC and Johnny Gartin of Mooresville, NC; one sister, Valerie Rainwater of Logan W. VA; seven grandchildren; and niece, Thrina Jeffrey of Logan W. VA. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Living Word Church with Pastor Larry Cockerham officiating.
