Minnie Lois Harden

Minnie Lois Harden, 96, a resident of Georgetown, TN passed away Friday, January 20, 2012, at a local hospital. She was a member of Oak Grove Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harden; parents, Ben and Maggie Noblett Parker; son, Bobby Slack and daughter, Linda Harden. She is survived by her children, W.L. "Bud" Slack and wife, Diane of Birchwood, LaVerne Vaughn and husband, Norris of McMinnville, Shirley Thomas and husband, Frank of Birchwood, Pat Stokes and husband, James of Cleveland and Darlene Cofer and husband, Lloyd Jr. of Georgetown;23 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren and one sister, Evelyn Wright of Birchwood. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2012 in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with Darrell Rose officiating. Interment will follow in Dolly Pond Cemetery with Tony Thomas, Ben Cofer, Joshua Stokes, Daniel Stokes, Jonathan Dockery and Parker Beaty serving as pall bearers. Honorary pall bearers will be Keith Stokes, Jason Stokes, Greg Thomas and Nathan Cofer. Her family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2012 at the funeral home.
