Larry S. Wright, Sr., age 60, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday evening, February 9, 2012 at his home. He was employed with Coppinger's Color Lab for over 15 years. He enjoyed racing at the Cleveland Motor Speedway and was an avid NASCAR fan. Larry also enjoyed participating in antique car and truck shows and won numerous awards over the years. He was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church and was a loving son, father and papaw. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Neal Wright, Sr. and one grandson, Weston Carr. Survivors include his mother, Helen Wright of Cleveland; two sons, Larry Wright, Jr. (Krystal) of Charleston and Bradley Zanoska of Cleveland; one daughter, Jennifer Carr (Steve) of Ocoee; three brothers, Fred Wright (Fran), Gary Wright, and Corey Wright; one sister, Tammy Wright; six grandchildren, Tanner Kincaid, Matthew Carr, Caleb Zanoska, Skylar Queen, Austin Queen, and Tiffany Wright; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Brown officiating. Interment will be held privately. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
