George A. Perdue, 69, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Saturday morning, April 14, 2012, in a local hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved drag racing, fishing and anything that involved his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, John George Perdue and Oval Etta Perdue; one sister, May Horstman; and one brother, Billy Perdue. He is survived by his wife, Crystal Sue Perdue; three sons, James Darrell Stewart, George Allen Stewart and John Thomas Perdue, all of Cleveland; one daughter, Wilma Jane Summers, of Cleveland; four brothers, Jake Perdue, Roger Perdue, Ricky Perdue and Thomas Perdue; one sister, Sandra McIntyre; eight grandchildren, Dakota Deeter, Austin Deeter, Andrew Hannah, Abigail Stewart, Sierra Stewart, Gunner Stewart, Matthew Summer and Isaac Leighton and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with the Reverend Joe Lockman officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
