Jane K. Alford, age 75, resident of Charleston, TN, passed away Friday morning, May 11, 2012, in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Charleston United Methodist Church. She was retired from South Central Bell after29 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold T. Kile and Pauline Cartwright, one grandson, Spencer Kile Alflord and one brother, Tommy Kile. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard "Dickie" Alford, Charleston, TN, three children, Wesley B.(Brenda) Alford, Cleveland, Lee Ann (Ray) Swindle, Rossville, GA and Gincy (John) Brewster, Knoxville, TN; five grandchildren, Lloyd Swindle, Kala Swindle, Lauren A. Alford, Kile Brewster and Maxwell Brewster; two step grandchildren, Todd Torbett and Travis and Amber Torbett; two great grandchildren, Makeylee and Madison Torbett; two sisters, Delores (Claude) Climer and Judy Watson, several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside service will be held Monday, May 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. nephews and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
