Joyce Elaine Moss, 79, of Cleveland, passed away Friday morning, May 18, 2012 in a local healthcare facility. She was a native of Bradley County, but spent many years working for an office with the federal government in Atlanta. While working in Atlanta, Joyce was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Stockbridge, GA. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Moss; mother, Ruth McClure Moss; and an infant brother. She is survived by an aunt, Jo McClure Wills, many cousins and some very special friends who were a great comfort when her health began to fail. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2012 in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with the Reverend Allan Lovelace officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Glen Williams, Bill Moss, Michael Mach, Andy Wills, Bill McClure and William Austin will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service. The family requests that memorials be made to Waterville Baptist Church Building Fund, 3722 Dalton Pike SE, Cleveland, TN 37323.
