Glenford Wade Snead

Glenford W. Snead, 46, of Ooltewah, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at his residence. He was a nurse at Memorial Hospital for many years. He cared about the environment, loved animals and enjoyed traveling. Glenford never met a stranger. He was of the Church of Christ faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Preston E. Snead. He is survived by his mother, Georgia Snead of Cleveland; life partner, Michael L. Dunn of Ooltewah; brothers, Mark Adam Snead and Preston T. Snead and wife, La Christa, all of Cleveland; niece, Nikita Snead; nephew, Scott Snead; several aunts and uncles; and special friend, Kalani Michael Palani of Cleveland. His family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Grissom Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Friday, August 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Lee Cemetery in McDonald.
