She was surrounded by loyal nurses and family who ushered her into an eternal home of peace and tranquility. She passed on Monday morning, August 20, 2012. Frances was a devoted pastor's wife for most of her life, being very dedicated to all the roles she was asked to perform. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, the Reverend John L. McPherson of Cleveland; three children, Carolyn Hodges of Sumter, SC, Kerry McPherson of Cleveland and Rodney McPherson of Richmond, VA; 7 grandchildren; sister, Louise Baker of Tucson, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
