Cheryl Thomas Love, 59, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012. She was a member of several quilt groups and was an avid quilter. Cheryl was a member of First Baptist Church and was a community volunteer. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a precious daughter and sister. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. E.C. Thomas, former General Overseer of the Church of God. She is survived by her husband, Michael Love of Cleveland; children, James Love of Cleveland and Christopher Love, Victoria Love and husband, Nathan Diener and Nathan Love, all of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Makayla Love, Malachi Love, Bryson Love, Aiden Love and Evan Love; mother, Alice Thomas of Cleveland; and sisters, Charmaine Thomas of Legett, CA and Melanie Willis of Cleveland. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Cheryl Love will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home. At Cheryl's request her body was donated to medical research to help find a cure for cancer.
