Nate Bell, 33, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. He was an avid musician and was self taught on several instruments, mostly playing the drums and bass guitar. Nate was a painter and a member of Calvary Church in East Ridge. He was a loving husband, father, brother and son. He loved to have fun and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Above all else, Nate loved the Lord with all his heart and was a Godly man whose goal in life was to please the King of Kings in all he did. He is survived by his wife, Brandy Bell of Cleveland; children, Kayla Cooke and Evan Bell, both of Cleveland; parents, Robert and Karen Bell of Cleveland; sisters, Shannon Brown and husband, Chris of Goodlettsville and Lauwana Myers and husband, Jason of Ringgold, GA; maternal grandmother, Violet McDannell of Georgetown; paternal grandfather, Orson Bell of Franklin; two nephews, Brandon and Caleb; one niece, Grace; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Lickliter officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Chris Brown, Jason Myers, Brandon Roberts, Eddie Phillips, David Phillips and James Brown serving as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to a fund that has been set up in Nate's memory.
