Jo Marie Earel

Jo Marie Earel, 60, of Georgetown, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012 at her residence. She was a C.P.A. and a loyal employee of Jenkins Deli. She was a charter member of the Cleveland 100 serving as secretary/treasurer since 1996. Jo was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary; the ladies auxiliary to the VFW; a member of the B.P.O.E.; and the Choo Choo Shag Club. "Jo Mama" enjoyed living on the river and was an avid fisherwoman. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. J. Earel; and parents, Homer and Agnes Ducker Chastain. She is survived by her daughter, Angel Sherlin and husband, Anthony of Cleveland; special granddaughter, Madison Sherlin; several aunts and uncles in the Signal Mountain area; very special friends, Beth and Lee Rainey and adopted granddaughter, Camryn Rainey, all of Cleveland; and many special friends, including those living on the river. At her request there will be no services. Her wishes were that memorials be made in her name to the Cleveland 100, PO Box 2370, Cleveland TN 37320. Grissom Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
