Roy Parks Farmer, 85, of Cleveland, stepped into the loving presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. He retired from Bradley Central High School in 1993 after 37 years of service as a beloved Biology teacher and principal. Mr. Farmer enjoyed flying and was a volunteer with the Cleveland City Police Department. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Farmer; and parents, Gus and Addie Trotter Farmer He is survived by his son, Roy P. Farmer II and wife, Jeanetta of Cleveland; grandchildren, Amy Honaker and husband, Randy of Tampa, FL and Abigayil Abraham of Cleveland; and great grandchildren, Victoria Ann Honaker and Nathan Macht Honaker. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Seaton officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
