Gary Lee Biesemeyer, 52, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 in a Chattanooga hospital. He liked hiking and carving and was an avid Tennessee Vols fan. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who were the love of his life. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Darling Biesemeyer; brother, Don Rayburn; and step mothers, Alice Marie Biesemeyer and Mary Kay Biesemeyer. He is survived by his father, Lawrence Biesemeyer of Boling Brook, IL; son, Adam Biesemeyer and wife, Melissa of Chattanooga; step daughter, Elizabeth Henderson; five grandchildren, Adam Biesemeyer, Jr., Matthew Rilee Biesemeyer, Anthony Henderson, Ricky Henderson and August Henderson; four brothers, Larry Rayburn, Randall Biesemeyer, Allen Rayburn and Paul Biesemeyer; three sisters, Sharon Rayburn, Brenda Lissio and Cathy Nicolos; and numerous nieces and nephews. A private memorial service was held and officiated by his pastor and lifelong friend, Jack Thoemke. It was Gary's wish to donate his cremains to UT Research Facility and he is now a member of the Vols family.
