Elizabeth H. Wilson, age 90, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Monday morning, January 14, 2013, at her residence. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. She was a retired school teacher and had taught for Cleveland City School System at George R. Stuart and Templeton Hill. She was a graduate of Florence State Teacher's College in Florence, AL. After her retirement, she was a volunteer at the Museum Center at Five Points and The Adult Reading Program. She was an avid bridge player and played several times a week. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lawler Wilson and her parents, Edwin A. Harsson and Cora Fan Hammond Harsson. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Elizabeth W. (Dr. James L.) Adams of Flatwoods, KY and Thomas L. (Janice Johnson) Wilson, Jr. of Oak Ridge, TN; 5 grandchildren, James L. Adams, Jr., Elizabeth Ann Adams, Julia Wilson (Marcelo) Zampronha, Mary Kathryn Wilson (Christopher M. Lynch) and Sarah Thomas Wilson; 3 great grandchildren, Isaac Adams, Colin Adams and Gabriela Zampronha; one sister, Charline Megar of Florence, AL; two sisters-in-law, Peggy Whitlock and Jean Martin; and one niece and her husband who live in Cleveland, Jean (Dr. Mitch) Jordan. Several other nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Dr. Joel Huffstetler officiating. Interment will follow in St. Luke's Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Parish Hall at St. Luke's. The family requests memorials be made to the Museum Center at Five Points 200 Inman St. Cleveland, TN 37312, an Adult Reading Program of your choice, or St. Luke's Episcopal Church of Cleveland.
