Jennifer Whitehead Glover

Jennifer Doreen Whitehead Glover, 53, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013. She played basketball at Oak Grove Elementary School and won the Zandra Montgomery Basketball Award. She was employed with the Cleveland Daily Banner as a delivery person for 13 years and also owned Jenny's Video and Deli on Spring Place Road. Jennifer was a member at Candies Creek Baptist Church. She liked to go camping and fishing and enjoyed the outdoors. She loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Willard "Duke" Whitehead and granddaughter, Kaydence Brooks. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Glover of Cleveland; mother, Sylvia Whitehead of Cleveland; children, Christopher Brooks and fiancé, Heather Price and Wesley Glover and fiancé, Brandi Ellis, all of Cleveland; stepchildren, Lawrence Glover and Jada Doyle and husband, Craig, all of Morristown and Robin Glover of Charleston, SC; granddaughter, Gracie Glover; step grandchildren, Micah McAbee and Zach Doyle; brothers, Robert D. Whitehead, Donald L. Whitehead and Gregory A. Whitehead and wife, Lisa, all of Cleveland; special uncle, Reg Hedger of Perth, Australia; very special nephew, Brett Whitehead; several nieces and nephews; and "special best friend," Robin Roe of Cleveland. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013 in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with the Reverend Ronnie Pearson officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
