Bill McConnell

Willie Peyton "Bill" McConnell, 75, of Cleveland passed away Monday, April 1, 2013. He was the owner of Beauty Craft Florist for 35 years which he thoroughly enjoyed. He loved to travel and enjoyed gardening after retiring from his business. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peyton and Nellie Hicks McConnell; brother, Earl McConnell; and sister, Colleen McConnell Womack. Survivors include his sons, Neal (Karen) McConnell and Gary (Terra) McConnell, all of Cleveland; two grandchildren, Bailey Peyton McConnell and one on the way, Sadie Meyer McConnell; great grandchild, Kaden Peyton McConnell; brother, David (Gail) McConnell of Ten Mile, sisters, Laura (Larry) Beck of Cleveland, Gail McConnell of Nashville and Reba Massengil of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Betty McConnell of Cleveland; the mother of his children, Katherine Sue Hamilton of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Lake Walker officiating. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
