Jerald Windle Joyner, 73, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, April, 21, 2013 at his residence. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Jerald was a carpenter and a retired Church of God minister. He was a family man and his life was all about his granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Myrtle Joyner; sister, Madeline Hooks; and brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Marilyn Joyner. He is survived by his wife, Dorcas Crawford Joyner of Cleveland; daughter, Sabrina Joyner-Lynn and husband, Justin of Cleveland; son, Christopher Lael Joyner of Cleveland; granddaughters, Kaylee Joyner and Elizabeth Goggins; brother, Royce Joyner and wife, Carolyn of Cleveland; and brother-in-law, Rudolph Hooks of Belle Glade, FL. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Westmore Church of God with the Reverend Wayne Carter officiating.
