Joan Cavitt

Joan D. Cavitt, age 70, resident of Calhoun, TN, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013, in a Knoxville, TN hospital. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Cleveland. She was a C.N.A. and a Cosmetology Instructor. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Calton and Margaret Stout and one daughter, Katherine Marie Cavitt. She is survived by one son and daughter in law, Michael and Kelly Cavitt, Lenoir City, TN; one grandaughter, Mikayla Cavitt; one brother and sister in law, Darby and Tina Calton, Calhoun, TN and one sister, Sally Calton, Georgetown, Texas; one nephew and his wife, Matthew and Kimberly Calton, Manor, Texas and one great niece, Katelynn Calton. Mass of the Resurrection will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Calhoun First Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, May 6, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Grissom Funeral Home who has charge of arrangements.
