Charles R. Lusk

Charles R. Lusk, 74, of Cleveland, passed away, Tuesday, May 7, 2013 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. He was in the transportation business until 1994. He loved to dance and be active, and to laugh and cut up. He enjoyed listening to music and loved watching his granddaughter dance. He served in the United States Coast Guard and was a member of North Cleveland Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. Lusk, Sr. and Frankie Reed Lusk and brother, Reverend Larry L. Lusk. He is survived by his wife, Shirley O. Lusk of Cleveland; daughter, Samantha L. Harris and husband, Chuck of Cleveland; granddaughter, Whitley Harris of Cleveland; sister, Joyce Lusk Roddy of Williamson, WV and a host of special nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013 in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the funeral home. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to, North Cleveland Baptist Church, "Grace to the Finish" Building Fund, 2815 North Ocoee Street Cleveland, TN 37312.
