Reba White

Reba White, age 91, resident of Old Fort, TN, passed away Saturday morning, May 11, 2013, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was a member of the Smyrna Baptist Church. She loved poetry and she wrote many poems. She was preceded in death by her husband, Froney Emerson White, parents, Charles Reynolds and Iva Dunn Reynolds; three sisters, Amy Cavett, Jodie Goode and Ella Sue Reynolds; four brothers, Ross, James, Thomas and Charles Jr. Reynolds. She is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Estelle and Pat Kinser and Katherine and Thurman Dickens all of Old Fort, TN; 5 grandsons, John Smith, Ray Dickens, Thomas Smith, Kenneth Dickens and Danny Dickens; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with the Reverend Jim Parm officiating. Interment will follow in Dill Cemetery in Old Fort, TN with John Smith, Thomas Smith, Kenneth Dickens, Johnny Smith, Danny Dickens and Andrew Smith serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the funeral home.
