J. Edward Higgins

J. Edward Higgins, 88, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013, in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. He was a United States Navy veteran that served in World War II. He was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from Reynolds Metals. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Mamie Carson Higgins. Survivors include his niece, Olivia Hall and husband, Curtis of Cleveland and siblings, Frances Ruth Curtis of Cleveland and Betty Lou Buslinger of Melbourne, FL. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013 with the Reverend Gary Higgins officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 3:00 on Friday at Grissom Funeral Home before proceeding to the cemetery. Grissom Funeral Home, Mark S.
