David Marr

David R. Marr, age 60, a resident of Charleston, passed away suddenly Friday evening, July 19, 2013, at his residence. The son of the late William and Violet Britt Marr, David was native of San Bernadino, CA and has lived in the Cleveland area for the past 35 years. David was a member of First Baptist Church of Charleston and former owner of Colonial Wood Products for over 30 years. He was devoted to his family and was a friend to everyone. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sonya Hayes Marr of Charleston; son Micah North and wife Nadia of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren, Sophie and Jackson stepfather, Bill Dala0meter of Highlands, CA; step-mother , Betty Marr of Dublin CA; sister, Margaret Starnes of Pleasanton, CA; and a brother, Michael Marr of Dayton, TN. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2013, in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with the Reverend Joe Collins and Reverend Kenny Isbill officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
