Linda "Granny" Renslow Rogers, age 70, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Friday night, September 6, 2013. She left this world surrounded by her family. While it is a temporary loss for her family and friends here, Linda is united with friends and family in Heaven and they are with their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a member of the Big Springs United Methodist Church where she served as church treasurer and was a member of the James Sunday School class. She had a large collection of bird houses. She enjoyed watching her birds and the deer in her backyard. But most of all, the joy of Linda's life, was spending time with her kids and grandkids. Preceded in death by her mother and father, J. L. and Irene Renslow. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Lloyd Rogers, son, Jeff (Desty) Rogers and daughter, Lisa Rogers, grandchildren, Heath (Tasha) Sullivan, Josh Rogers, Jamie Rogers and Gage Sullivan. Three step grandchildren, Jeremy Baggs, Jacob Baggs and Chelsea Bell. Beloved sister, Jean (Bill) Millaway and Melanie Rogers, mother of Josh and Jamie. A host of friends also survive. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 9, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Grissom Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Keith Sitzler and Ray Petty officiating. Music by Paul Tosch. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Heath Sullivan, Josh Rogers, Jamie Bishop, Brandon Burns, Marlon Ayala, Michael Rogers, Gage Sullivan, Jamie Rogers, Bo Ellis and Brad Millaway serving as pallbearers.
