Joel Randall Stover

June 21, 1980 — October 31, 2013

Joel Randall Stover, 33, of Knoxville, TN passed away, Thursday, October 31, 2013. He faithfully served his country as a full time Tech Sergeant at the 134th National Air Guard Refueling Wing. Joel attended Brainerd Baptist Elementary, Baylor School, and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he was a life-long Tennessee fan. Joel never met a stranger and was a friend to all. His kind heart and joyful spirit will be sadly missed. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Finley Wilhoite and Mr. and Mrs. Walter O. Stover and his uncle Steven Wilhoite. Survivors include his wife Molly Groves Stover, mother Phyllis Hamilton and her husband Albert Hamilton. His father Randall Stover and his wife Melony Stover, brother Daniel Stover, sister Angela Haygood and niece Hayley and nephew Elijah. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5th at Grissom Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
