Myrtle Moore, 76, of Cleveland, passed away, Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at her home. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Addie Lou Pope Powell; children, Patsy Kay Murrell Baily and Anita Jane Moore Sample; step-son, Oliver A. Moore, Jr. and grandchildren, John Edgar Moore and Olivia Sample. She is survived by her husband, Oliver Moore of Cleveland; children, Bonnie Sue Murrell Moore of Lafayette, GA, Billy Edgar Murrell of Brunswick, GA and Curtis James Murrell of Lakeland, FL; step-children, Justin Lee Moore and Shani L. Selman, both of Hueytown, AL; grandchildren; Elizabeth Jane Sample, Cary Michael Baily, Sarah Ann Baily, Curtis James Murrell, Jr., Brandi Murrell, Helen Marie Moore and Jason James Moore. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 8, 2013in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Collins and the Reverend Gene Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the funeral home.
