Arnold L. Ware, Jr., 82, a long-time resident of Cleveland, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, November 18, 2013. He was a member of the Lamontville Baptist Church. He attended Waterville Baptist Church until his current illness. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and the second generation owner of Ware's Radio and TV. He loved spending time with his family and longed to be reunited with his wife of 49 years, Wanda. He was preceded in death by his by his wife, Wanda Walker Ware; parents, Alice and Arnold L. Ware, Sr. and sister, Irene Ware Creekmore. He leaves behind to cherish his memory four children and their spouses; Mark Ware, Marilyn Ware Duncan and husband, John of Calhoun, Melinda Ware Heatherly and fiancé, David Wilson of Jacksboro and David Ware of Cleveland; siblings, Bobbye Creaseman and Norma Taylor and husband, AL; eight grandchildren, Kelly (Doug) McCutchen, Ben (Darlene) Ware, Nancy (Brian) Carey, Brandon(Haley) Ware, Ty Purdie, Matthew Purdie, Alexis Ware and Shaelyn Ware; four great-grandchildren, Natalie and Forrest McCutchen and Brody and Aubrey Ware; special friend, Judy Wilson and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his lap companion Scrappy that he rescued seven years ago. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with Al Taylor officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2013 in Calhoun Community Cemetery with military honors. David Wilson, Brian Carey, Doug McCutchen, Ben Ware, Brandon Ware, Ty Purdie, Wesley Loscudo and Matthew Purdie will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
