Edith A. Neely

May 20, 1922 — December 15, 2013

Edith Neely, 91, of Cleveland, passed away, Sunday, December 15, 2013 in a local healthcare facility. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Big Spring United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Quin Neely, Sr.; parents, Henry and Pauline Smith Jamerson; son, Quin Neely, Jr. and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children, Jerry Neely and wife Diane and David Neely and wife, Brenda "B.B.", all of Cleveland; grandchildren, David A. Neely and wife Angie, Rodney Wayne Neely and wife, Gina and Jason Tyler Neely and wife Anna; five great-grandchildren, Ginger Neely, Jordan Neely, Tyler Neely, Katelynn and Kylie Neely. Also several nieces, nephews and extended family also survive. The family would like to give a special thanks to Signature Healthcare of Cleveland for their wonderful care and concern. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Grissom Funeral Home with Reverend Shane Lawson, Reverend Sam Blankenship and Chaplain Carl Caffrey officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Brandon Wheeler, Nick Lawson, Tim Ledford, Chucky Torbett, Brandon Barefield and Chad Maxwell serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the funeral home.
