Edna Hale Ellis, 88, of East Ridge, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 2, 2014. She was currently a resident of Signature Healthcare of Cleveland. She was known for her special sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther B. Ellis and parents, Lois and John Hale. Survivors include her four children, Sherry Cavitt and husband, Max of Cleveland, Dee Cavitt and husband, Tommy of Cleveland, Renee Baker and husband, Harlom of Orange Beach, AL, and Dana Ellis and wife, Kim of Chattanooga; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family would like give a special thanks to Helen Boyd, longtime friend and caregiver. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in the Tennessee/Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Carl Caffrey officiating. Family members and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to extend special thanks to Signature Healthcare of Cleveland for all their tender loving care.
