Levon Richard Baker

Levon Richard Baker, 75, of Cleveland, passed away, Monday, February 10, 2014 in a Cleveland healthcare facility. He was a graduate of Bradley Central High School Class of 1957. Mr. Baker was a veteran of the United States Navy. Also, he was an insurance salesman. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Haskel and Lillian Ruth Bryan Baker and his brother, George Edward Baker of Little Rock, AR. He is survived by his son, Jamie R. Baker of Cleveland and his sister, Barbara Ruth Hopson and husband, Jimmy R. of Bristol, TN. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2014 in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to New Friendship Baptist Church, 3833 Salem Valley Road, Ringgold, GA 30736.
