Debra Ann Ledford Crowell, 51, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014. She loved to quilt, read her Bible and research her genealogy. She also loved spending time with her animals. She loved her music and experiencing concerts and festivals with her children and husband. She was an active member of the Cherokee Tribe of Northeast Alabama. She cherished her family above all else, having her children and grandchildren together was the light of her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Mazie Williams Ledford and brother, Willie David Ledford. Survivors include her husband, Derek Crowell; daughters, Elizabeth Henderson and Sara Hodshire; sons, Adam Biesemeyer, Donnie Wood, and Bryan Crowell; sisters, Sara Thoemke, Lena Ledford, and Roxanne Colbaugh; one brother, Donald Ledford; and grandchildren, Adam L. Biesemeyer, Jr., Matthew R. Biesemeyer, William A. Henderson, Richard A. Henderson, August R. Henderson, Krista J. Hodshire, Annabella M. Hodshire, Halle P. Crowell, and Hannah G. Crowell. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Thoemke officiating. Interment will be held at Boanerges Cemetery in Old Fort, TN with Adam Biesemeyer, Anthony Hodshire, Donald Wood, Bryan Crowell, Jack Thoemke, and David Thoemke serving as pallbearers.
