Howard William Zuker, 83, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and attended St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church. Mr. Zuker was also the owner and manager of the local Kentucky Fried Chicken. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Gould Zuker; parents, Frank and Tillie Zuker; step-daughter, Peggy Holtzer and siblings, Raymond Zuker, Norman Zuker and Rita Smokler. He is survived by his brother, Paul Zuker; sister, Helen Pappas; granddaughters, Danielle Hawkins and Rebecca Jean Smith; many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his dog Bo; special friends Jeff and Marie Amos and many neighbors and church family. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at St. Therese of Lisieux. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
