Roy Price Bundy

Roy Price Bundy, 83, of Riceville, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at his residence. He formally attended Clay Hill Baptist Church and was a truck driver. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Ressi Paynes Bundy; granddaughter, Jeanie Mae Bundy and siblings, Liddie Milburn, Howard Bundy and Jim Bundy. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Norma Jean Bundy of Riceville; children, Roy Michael Bundy and wife, Angie of Riceville and Willard Randall Bundy and wife, Rhonda of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Brandi Nicole Bundy, Aaron Ajah Bundy, Natasha Dawn Cox, Heather Marie Larson, and Ashley Brooke Bundy; two step grandchildren, Megan Thea Pickering and Thomas Jean Kendrick; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Minnie Rogers of Covington, KY and Joyce Dunton of Bakersfield CA and brother in-law and sister-in-law, Johnny and Rebecca Reed of Niota. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2014 in Red Hill Valley Cemetery with the Reverend Greg Wilcox officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
