Gale Nolen Burns, 55, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at her residence. She was employed as a seamstress at Hardwick Clothes for 17 years. She enjoyed gardening and quilting. She lived her life to the fullest. She was a member of East Cleveland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carolyn Smith Morgan and Jim Nolen. She is survived by her husband, Todd Burns; daughter, Heather Michelle Bowman and husband, Stacy of Cleveland; siblings, John David Perry, Wade Gladson, Darrin Nolen and Dana Gibson; several nieces and nephews also survive; Heather's father, John Green of Cleveland, and step-father, Ricky Holder of Cleveland; individuals who were like her own kids, Misty Forgey Webb, Lisa Lawson, Sheree Gregory Adams, Lacey Bolles and Rebecca Sanders Jones. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in the chapel of Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home with the Reverend Frank Nolen and the Reverend Ray Cheatham officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Mark Burns, Wade Burns, Jeremy Burns, Steve Watkins, Chris Belcher and Danny Smith serving as pallbearers.
