Fred Allen Freeman

Fred Allen Freeman, 77, passed away Monday, July 7, 2014 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was of Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josh and Lena Freeman; brothers, Virgil, Edward, Carl, Ted and Howard Freeman and sisters, Virgie Stinnett, Betty Mowery and Mary Wieler. He is survived by his children; Mary and Carl Torbett of Delano, Barbara and Jim Smith of Cleveland, Rebecca Freeman of Old Fort, Ted and Nancy Freeman of Cleveland and Fred D. and Samantha Freeman of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Jon and Elizabeth Torbett of Cleveland, Jason and Catherine Torbett of Benton, Josh Torbett of Chattanooga, Jean Torbett and Amanda Duckett of Delano, Jessica and Shawn Morfield of Cleveland, Matthew and Shawna Stratton of Cleveland, Michael and Dory Stratton of Sevierville, Jacob Stratton of Cleveland, Chris Freeman of Old Fort, Andrew and Amanda Freeman of Fort Campbell, KY, Ted Jr. and Holly Freeman of Knoxville, Justine and Michael Truelove of Cleveland, Bethany and Whitney Longwith of Cleveland, Ian Freeman of Panama City, FL and twenty great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Wanda McNeil, Dora Evans, Charles Hoyt, Manuel Freeman and Joe Freeman. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
