Lillian Elofson

Lillian Sterling Elofson, 75, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014 in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and active at the Senior Center on Urbane Rd. She was of Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenda and Harold Sterling, Jr. and her first husband, William Landon. She is survived by her husband, John Elofson of Cleveland; children, Jody Matthews of Norfolk, VA and Sharon Landon of Crisfield, MD; granddaughter, Sarah Matthews pf Norfolk, VA and step-sister, "Trudy". Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday August 4, 2014 in the chapel of Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating. Interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
