Muriel Eden, 87, of Cleveland, formerly of Dallas, TX, went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 1, 2014 in a Chattanooga Hospice Facility. She was born in St. Helens, England. She was a devoted Christian, sweet friend, loving aunt and sister and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Muriel was a faithful member of the North Cleveland Church of God and the Encouragers Sunday School class. She was a registered nurse while living in England and also at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, TX. She is preceded by her parents, Harry and Alice Eden; sister, Grace and brother-in-law, Fred. She is survived by her nieces, Jan and Judy of England; great-nieces, Sara, Suzanne and Yasmine (Meem) all of England; great-nephews, James of Ireland, Omar of Scotland, Zaid and Luay of England; special friends, Violet Carr, Wayne and Sandy White, Randell and Janice Higgins and family and her friends at North Cleveland Towers. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 3, 2014 in the chapel of Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home with Wayne White officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery with Randell Higgins, Matt Higgins, Gray Gibson, Chad Holtz and Wayne White serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
