Lissie Madeline Rogers, 94, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 70 years (who has been waiting patiently in Heaven for his "little woman" the last two years), Leroy Rogers; her son, Clay; her parents, Hubert and Hobert Weir; brothers, Luke, Luther, Lloyd and Nathan Weir; sister, Linnabelle Crisp; and a grandson she adored, Jeff Ingram. She is survived by her son and his wife, Donald and Sam Rogers; her daughter and her husband, Linda and Jack Ingram; grandchildren, Lynn (Annette) Ingram, Amy (Scott) Williams and Andy Rogers; great grandchildren, Jackie and Candace Ingram and Kerri (Jared) Green; great, great grandchildren, Paisley Skyler McKensley and Mason and Dillon; brother, Arvil Weir. She loved her family and enjoyed taking care of them and her yard. In addition to her children and grandchildren; nieces, nephews and neighbors checked in on her all the time. She was truly blessed with special people in her life. The family would especially like to thank her special caregiver, Amanda, Dr. Daniel Vance, Family Home and Hospice Care and Eagle Home Care. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Short Creek Cemetery in Meigs County with Rev. John W. Smith officiating. Scott Williams, Daniel Crisp, Camus Crisp, David Weir, Andy Rogers and Sam Fox will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends, Sunday evening, September 7 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
