William E. Shelton, Jr., age 63, died peacefully on Tuesday afternoon December 17, 2013 at Memorial Hospital.
Born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida to Col. William E. Shelton, Sr. and Juanita D. Shelton (both deceased), he spent his younger years growing up on Air Force bases around the world. He attended the University of Tennessee and is a long time resident of Chattanooga.
He is survived by his two daughters, Kelly Wilson (Randall) and Katie Young (Michael), and his two brothers, Steve and Tom. He also leaves behind four grandchildren: Lauren Craig, Brandon Wilson, M J Young and McKenzie Young.

The family will receive friends for a casual celebration of his life from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, at the home of Michael and Katie Young (725 Sunset Mountain Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421).
