Bill Brown, age 77, a resident of Benton and formerly of South Miami, FL. passed away September 4, 2013 at an Athens hospital. He was of the Baptist faith and was a very talented woodworker. Bill enjoyed fishing, talking, and for those who knew him understand that.
Mr. Brown was preceded in by his daughter, Jackie Brown and one sister, Lounette Brown.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Ms. Sandra Brown; five children and spouses, Mark Ellers (Cindy) of Lino Lake, MN., Jill Chaskin (Bruce) of Fort Lauderdale, FL., Dave Brown (Georgia) of San Diego, CA., Jodie Irwin (Jim) of Hiram, GA., and Cathy Doerkin (Uwe) of San Diego, CA.; eight grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, six sisters, and one brother.
Service:
A gathering of friends will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 3-6 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Cleveland.
